Stephen Littau at Fearless Philosophy for Free Minds has awarded Centrerion and myself the award for Fearless Philosophy Blogpost of the Month, for my essay, On Democracy and Liberalism. Mucho kudos! Incidentally, if the essay interests you, you'll enjoy his website, because he has lots of material discussing freedoms, liberties, and of course their relation to politics. Did I mention he seems to be a moderate/centrist?

On a related note, my thanks also goes out to Cigar Intelligence Agency for mentioning the essay. Besides cigars, the man discusses politics.
Similar thanks goes out to Committees of Correspondence, who posted about the essay in his turn hosting the Liberty carnival. There's more material on liberalism (in the sense of freedoms, not in the sense of the left) there.
More kudos is due to the Dave, of Dave's Not Here, who appreciated us with a top listing in the showcase carnival.

On a distantly related note, we need to acknowledge:
Either Orr for his comedy roundup, which mentioned our explanation of why Canada will defeat the absurd Taliban.
Conservathink, with a similar comedy article
The Liberal Wrong, for posting about our criticism of PM Harper's aid for Hamas.
The Owner's Manual, for mentioning our post on Canada, and the Separation of Chuch and State.
