It's another Christian blog... perhaps that's why the excerpt and placement about our post is relatively minor and less noticeable?... Arrrrrrghh, as Howard "Blackbeard" Dean would have put it.

Excuse me, the fact that I am a Christian blog has nothing to do with this. I am surprised you would assume such a thing and publically make that assertion. Blog Carnival sent your submission and the other one to me late, after I had posted the Carnival. I was confused and that is why there was no comment from me. I assumed it was sent in late. My policy on late arrivals is to showcase them only. If that upset you or gave a wrong impression I do apologize. I work hard to make my carnival fair and interesting. Many times I have put up things I totally disagree with, but because the submitter was gracious enough to trust me with a submission I honored it by showcasing it.
I do what I can, the best I can. As for your submission, being on the top or at the bottom, well, frankly I never thought about that to be honest. I thought the idea of the Carnival was to showcase all submitters work, and I did and do that. Try sending a submission to Carvival of the Insanities-you will be lucky if it gets even posted or showcased, she gets way toooooooooooooo many.
If in the future you are unsure of something, do not make any assumptions please. Just email me at admin@freedomwatchusa.us I will be glad to answer your questions or clear up any misunderstanding. If I have misunderstood this post as you meant it you have my apologies in advance.
I am sorry for your disappointment this week, but truly they sent me the submission so late. Try using the Conservative Cat submission form. If you check out my Carnivals, there is a link to it in each carnival. Cats is so much better and I get them in time.

I'm sorry if there was a mixup... it was just a musing of mine. A Christian carnival of some sort thought my post was offensive and chose not to include it in their roundup. That's their prerogative of course, but the point is that it made me think this was more of the same, but to a lesser extent.
I do generally use Conservative Cat, and I agree that his page and tool is much better (if less comprehensive) than Blog Carnival (they're associated with TTLB, and TTLB's kind of messy itself...). If I used Blog Carnival it's because I was trying to find some fresh carnivals to submit to.
As to Carnival of the Insanities, I've had the good fortune to make it in on Doc Sanity's blog. I can see what you mean though.
At any rate, I feel a little ungrateful. Thankyou for hosting the carnival, and even linking to me at all.
No problem. On the Internet I have quickly found how easy it is to misunderstand sometimes even the most innocent of things.
I am glad we have this cleared up and I am looking forward to more of your submissions at Carnival of the Rant.
I guess I spoiled you, the first time I had a submission from you I did host it at the top, but see, that was because I usually just list them in the order the come in. Not in the order or importance, so if you are submission one, you are on top, if you are the fifth submission, number 5 you are. It was never anything personal. I only deleted one submission ever, because they copied some elses work and passed it off as their own. I wanted nothing to do with that.
So not to worry, I'll bump you to number one next time! Promise! LOL! :) Just remind me in the note section that Cat provides! I do forget sometimes you know! LOL! :)
Ah, well, I'm glad that's cleared up.
