I just realized comment moderation's been on for a while. I turned it on then forgot about it, with the result it looks like no one's been commenting. Sorry about that. Those comments presenting logical arguments will be allowed through. Those offering ad-hominem attacks and dogma will be deleted. Those adulating me will be saved for my "I'm the greatest ever wall." Thanks Mom.

Supporting Israel at all costs is not a progressive stand. And Harper's position is not principled, it's calculated.

Not being able to tell the difference between those two things is why the ME problems are so intractible.

Read up on Mossadegh's overthrow again to recapture some perspective on how Western interference continues to be at the root of all problems in the ME, including those of Israel itself.

Gee, yeah, Western interference. It's always those damn Westerners bringing hate upon themselves.

Get real: people have to take responsibility for their own actions. Nobody can force you to do anything, and even if you hate someone, there are other responses besides terrorism to choose from. Quit the apologism.

Oh, and Harper's stand is calculated? Please, tell me, if you're so wise and informed, who of Jews or Arabs has more votes? I think the opposition's predictable position is the calculated one here (calculated to win the Arab vote, in other words).
